Great article! We spend a lot of time in Margaret River in Western Australia, have visited Hunter Valley, Marlborough, Central Otago and even Cape Winelands in South Africa, but still never made it to Barossa. But I shall bookmark your article for when I do 🙂

A wine tour that didn’t take in Jacob’s Creek? I didn’t think such a thing existed! 😀 My favourite is the Bethany Winery … great wine and superb views. We’ll be in Adelaide in November & I think I’ll insist on a wine tour where I don’t have to drive!

Oh yes, wine-tasting and driving doesn’t go together 🙂 If you think of going on a food and wine tour, check out the Adelaide Sightseeing Tours, they are great value!

The Barossa Valley is such a great place to visit! I know it’s not on a wine tour, but the Farmer’s Market held every Saturday near the town of Angaston is excellent!! And the view from Mengler’s Hill Lookout over the Valley is awesome – there’s a sculpture park there too!!

Beautiful! I love reading about different wine regions and Barossa looks amazing! I would love to go! It’s awesome you were able to fit so many places into one day!
