This 7-day tour takes you to the best places and hidden gems in Northern Sardinia, allowing you to savour not only the iconic places like Alghero and Asinara island but also dive deep into the best-kept secrets in the innermost northern island. Dates & Itinerary Of The Sardinia Tour

30th Sept - 7 Oct 2025 (7 nights, 8 days)

DAY 1 - Arrival in Alghero and Welcome Dinner
Today, we arrive independently in Sardinia, Alghero. Individual transfer to the hotel in the city centre. Enjoy a get-together stroll with an aperitivo and a beachfront sunset—a welcome dinner at a traditional Alghero restaurant.
DAY 2 - Explore the city of Alghero on a walking tour
After breakfast, we started our day with a 3-hour guided walking tour of Alghero to see all the historical sites and points of interest. After lunch, we had more free time to explore the city in the afternoon. At 7:00 pm, we met up again and travelled to Alghero's countryside for dinner in a top-notch agriturismo of the region.
DAY 3 - Stintino & Asinara Island exploration
Today, we go on an exclusive private boat tour to Asinara Island for a full day of exploration. We start with an easy hike and enjoy relaxing time (and swimming) and a packed lunch at a secluded bay. In the afternoon, we return to the main island with free time for the evening and dinner.
DAY 4 - Castelsardo with Badesi Beach Walk
We explore the northern coast of Sardinia, which has one of the longest beaches: Badesi Beach. We enjoy a beach walk, packed lunch and in the afternoon we visit Castelsardo for a guided walking tour. After checking in at our hotel, we have free time and dinner in Lu Bagnu.
DAY 5 - Explorations of the Inland: the Anglona Region
Today, we have a full day of explorations of the most charming island regions. Anglona is famous for its rich traditional agriturismo and local produce, peculiar museums, Romanic churches, hilltop villages, and sweeping valleys with wineries and red mountains: see the full list of activities the what's included.
DAY 6 - Heritage Villages in the Gallura Region
Today our inland's explorations continues to the Gallura region where we visit some of the most picturesque heritage villages, and have a short walk in the Lunar Landscape Valley. In the afternoon we check in at our hotel in Tempio. Free time for the evening and dinner.
DAY 7 - Half-Day Hike in Mount Limbara
After breakfast, we have a leisurely morning hike on Mount Limbara to explore its beautiful surroundings. After a packed lunch, we have afternoon time visit more places nearby. Farewell dinner rounds up our last day on tour.
DAY 8 - End of Tour - Departure from Olbia
After breakfast, we travel to the Olbia airport to depart for our flight. If you need to leave from the Alghero Airport, we can arrange the transfer for you at no additional cost.

My friend and I traveled with Michela on the Best of Sicily Tour in May-June of 2019 and what an awesome trip it was! We had the best guides-Palermo resident and knowledgeable guide Alessandro and bus driver Sergio from Agrigento were so kind. You could tell they were proud of their island and happy to show it off. Michela was great, very responsive before and during the trip. I would highly recommend this Sicily Tour and loved the fact that it was a small group tour of 10 people, many of whom were seasoned, active hikers and walkers. A perfect vacation!

This Sicily small-group tour is an ideal introduction to Sicily's many and varied attractions, ranging from architecture to food to archaeology. Zoom calls beforehand meant I already knew the other participants when it started. The meals were an excellent introduction to Sicilian cuisine.
