I've been travelling for +40 years, and of my country, Italy, what I love most is the food, the culture, and the fact that no matter where you travel in Italy, there is always a new charming place around the corner to explore. What are our Groups Tours of Italy all about?
Our guided small group trips of Italy are designed for the fit and active single traveller over 50 and active seniors who love to travel but also need that special thrill of joining a small group of like-minded travellers. Our Italy small groups have a prevalence of outdoor activities with an immersion in the local Italian culture and food experiences. We are locals of Italy and you will meet many friendly locals because we travel in small groups of 6-10 travellers. We also have Women's Only tours, Women's Retreats, and small group tours open to all travellers.

A 10-day Tour of the best of Sicily's iconic + off the beaten path heritage towns. We visit Taormina, the Eolian Islands: Lipari, Vulcano, Cefalu, Palermo with Monreale, Piazza Armerina, The Valley of The Temples, Ragusa Ibla, Scicli, Siracusa, Ortigia. 2 tours dates limited to 10 guests.
A 8-day round tour of Sardinia. From Alghero, Castelsardo to inlands's hidden gems, to the west with Bosa, the archeological sites of Tharros, Barumini, Santa Cristina, to superb wines and food experiences, local produce tastings, beach walks. One tour date. Limited to 8 guests.
This is a women's retreat of four days at the Lake Garda in North Italy. From visiting small towns and villages on a lake boat tour, to wine and food experience near Verona, to wellness and SPA.
Here is our small group hiking trip with five days and five nights in the Northern Dolomites between Bolzano and Ortisei. Spend days hiking the Gardena Valley and the Siusi Plateau in South Tyrol, Italy.

My trip to the Dolomites with a group of women who had never met before was great! We all got along and enjoyed the company. The places we visited were amazing. The mountain scenery was incredible. Wild flowers, cows with their big bells. We happened to be at a beautiful hotel in the mountains for the proprietress' birthday party and were invited. There was the celebration of the Sacred Heart with big bonfires all along the mountain tops. Every place we stayed was wonderful. If it was be chance or great planning, the trip was wonderful and created a million memories.

If possible, do a small tour group like the Rocky Travel Tours of Sicily. That way, you have better customer service, and the little bus provides greater mobility, while the unavoidable toilet stops are not as long. The Rocky Travel Tour of Sicily suited me, so I was with like-minded people! The Best of Sicily Tour had a right balance of organised activities and free time.

Dolomites were breathtakingly beautiful with the rocky peaks and lush rolling mountains. Travelling with a small group of open minded women who were willing to take on the mountains, changing weather, train and bus schedules. Hiking was a little challenging but made the drinks even more tastier after hiking. Local people were friendly and lovely to see people wearing there regions costumes. Well planned trip, relaxing, challenging with a few laughs along the way. Hope to make it back some day. Overall a great trip to South Tyrol.

Who are the Italy Tours good for?
An average level of fitness is required. While we will not be climbing or walking on exposed trails or go on any difficult adventure, you must, however, be fit to walk on all kinds of terrain for a time of a few hours.
