Join a Small Group Safari of Tanzania

When it comes to a Safari, Tanzania is a top destination because of the various national parks and its abundant wildlife, plus the diversity of landscapes: from deep forests, waterfalls, crater rims, natural lakes, and Mount Kilimanjaro creates the perfect environment. On this 11-day Safari, we explore different National Parks: Tarangire, Serengeti and Mahayana. We have two game drives a day, a guided walk in the forest and the Materuni waterfall activity along the slopes of Kilimanjaro. To round up a fabulous Tanzania adventure, we complete this adventure with three full days in Zanzibar to enjoy relaxation and beach time with local explorations.

Dates & Itinerary Of The Tanzania Safari Tour

10th Nov - 21 Nov 2025 (11 nights, 12 days)

DAY 1 - Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania
Today, upon your arrival at the airport, you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel in Arusha for a meet-and-greet dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 - Game Drives in Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park to begin our morning game drive. This national park is famous for its stunning, expansive forests of baobab trees, home to the largest population of elephants and over 550 species of native birds. After enjoying lunch, we will embark on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
DAY 3 - Exploration of Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, we have a guided walking safari in the forest—at lunchtime. We have time to relax in the afternoon and go on a game drive to view more wildlife—dinner and overnight at the lodge.
DAY 4 - Drive to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, we depart for the Serengeti National Park. We will have a 6-7-hour drive through a varied landscape and abundant wildlife. We have our packed lunch at a picnic site and a game drive in the afternoon, searching for the BIG 5. We stay at a camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5 - Full Day of Exploration in Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you can have a hot air balloon safari* and experience the mighty view of the Serengeti from the air. After lunch at the lodge, we depart for afternoon and evening game drives to view more of the BIG 5. We have dinner and overnight at our lodge.

*The hot air balloon experience is optional and at an extra cost.

DAY 6 - Visit a Masai Village - Ngorongoro Crater Safari
After breakfast, we drive to a Masai village where you will learn about the Masai people and their culture and traditions. In the afternoon, we head to the Ngorongoro Crater, where we have a game drive on the crater rim. We have a picnic lunch inside the crater. In the evening, more game drives to search for the BIG 5. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
DAY 7 - Exploration of Lake Manyara National Park
Today, we head to Lake Manyara National Park for a compact game drive circuit. This park is a special place known for climbing trees. The part stretches for +50 km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre-high Rift Valley escarpment. We have an afternoon game drive—transfer, Dinner, and overnight at the lodge in Arusha.
DAY 8 - Materuni Waterfalls in Kilimanjaro - Departure to Zanzibar
After early breakfast, we depart for Moshi, where we walk to the Materuni Waterfalls along the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. We then head to the airport for your flight transfer to Zanzibar and check in at the hotel in Zanzibar.

DAY 9 - Spice-Tour + tone-Town Tour in Zanzibar
Zanzibar has earned its reputation over the centuries as a spice island by growing and exporting different types of spices such as cloves, pepper, nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, Curry and more. On this 2-hour spice tour, you will learn to dive deep into growing and harvesting spices, leaves, and herbs and tasting tropical fruits. In the afternoon, we will have a 2-hour guided tour of Stone Town, a Unesco World-Heritage site.
DAY 10 - Jozani Natural Forest Tour in Zanzibar
After breakfast, we will visit the Jozani Forest, the only natural reserve on the island. Besides walking through mangroves, eucalyptuses, and mangrove forests, you will spot the red Colobus Monkey and other native animals.
DAY 11 - Free day for optional activities in Zanzibar
On the last day in Zanzibar, you can explore more, and book a half-day boat tour to Prison Island or to Nakupenda Island or go on a full-day blue safari boat tour, or if you prefer just relax at the hotel resort.
DAY 12 - End of Tour with Airport Transfer
After breakfast, organised transfer to the AMAN ABEID International Airport in Zanzibar for your flight back home or to your next destination.

This Sicily small-group tour is an ideal introduction to Sicily's many and varied attractions, ranging from architecture to food to archaeology. Zoom calls beforehand meant I already knew the other participants when it started. The meals were an excellent introduction to Sicilian cuisine.
