DAY 1 - Arrival in Chania, Crete - Welcome Dinner
Individual arrival to Crete airport* and check it at the hotel in Chania. In the evening welcome dinner in one of Chania's best restaurant for traditional Cretan food. (For incoming airport, Chania is recommended.).
DAY 2 - Exploring Chania bes heritage and cultural sites + tasting of local produce
After breakfast, we have a 3-hour guided walking tour through all heritage and cultural places in Chania. We also have a tasting of local produce in a beautiful location setting.
DAY 3 - Visit to organic Honey & Olive Tree Farms & a South-West Coast Beach Exploration
We visit a honey farm, plus the most beautiful Cretan olive tree farm and we taste their local produce. In the afternoon we spend time at one of the Crete's best beaches, known for its pinky sands. We end the day with dinner at one of the most well-known organic farm restaurants of South West Crete.
Day 4 - A Gorge Hike in South Crete and Cretan Villages & Beaches
Today we go for a fabulous 3-hour gorge hike. For those not into hiking we have alternative activities, such as spending time in a lovely Cretan village and relax its beaches. After lunch, we head to Rethymno for a guided visit of its Fortezza. After checking in at the hotel, we have dinner together in a traditional restaurant of Rethymno.
Day 5 - Exploration of Preveli Palm Beach + Walk to the Gorge and the Big Waterfall
After breakfast, we head to South Crete's gems, with Prevely Palm Beach and its beautiful settings. We also walk to the Kourtalotiko Gorge and the Big Waterfall. In the afternoon we go back to Rethymno for free time: relaxing, shopping, eating out, etc.
Day 6 - Knossos Palace Heraklion - And a dive deep in traditional farms
Today after breakfast we head to Knossos Palace, the heritage icon of Crete. Afterwards we head inland to an old iconic village of Crete where we spend time for lunch. In the afternoon we head back to Heraklion where we check in at our hotel. In the afternoon we have 1-hour guided walk of the city centre and free time for relaxing, shopping, dinner.
Day 7 - Visit of local wineries near Heraklion
In the morning we visit an organic farm*, then we visit a Cretan winery in the southern region of Heraklion. Here we participate in food preparations, cooking demonstrations and tastings to dive deep in the local Cretan traditions. In the afternoon free time in Heraklion and farewell dinner together in the organic farm* traditional restaurant. (from the same organic farm owners).
Day 8 - End of Tour and transfer to Heraklion or Chania AirportA
After breakfast, the tour ends as we head to the Heraklion airport and/or to the Chania Airport for our trip continuation or flight back home.

What the Tour Price does not include

❌ Flights Connections To/From Chania/Heraklion on Crete. We must arrive in Crete on the 17th Sept day-time.

❌ Professional Guide Tour of Knossos Palace (Optional. Group ticket to be purchased locally).

❌ Meals as not stated in the "what's included" (Average price for a meal in Crete is about 10-30 €).

❌ Entry fee to the Hike Gorge National Park (1 €/person. Optional Ferry tickets).

❌ Sunbeds at the beaches (10 € per person. Optional).

❌ City Tax imposed by city council (about 1.50-2.50 € per night to to be paid at the hotel.)

❌ 2% surcharge for payment of deposit with credit card. (alternatively you can pay by bank transfer).

By paying the initial deposit you save your space on tour. You can pay by using the pay link on this page or sending your full details.

CAN I CANCEL MY TOUR RESERVATION ?

Due to the nature of our small group tour, we cannot refund after paying the deposit. Please check our Tour Terms & Conditions and especially our Tour Cancellation Policy.

WHEN DO YOU OFFER A FULL REFUND?

A full refund of the deposit is offered if the tour does not achieve the minimum of 8 people.

DO I NEED TRAVEL & MED INSURANCE?
