Thank you Michela for the travel inspiration. I’m planning to return to Italy and have considered visiting Croatia as well. In your first sentence in this post you had my full attention when you mentioned “swimming and snorkelling in crystal clear waters”. Then I read on … hiking and eating good food … And your fabulous photos. All this not too far from Venice. Like I said thanks for the inspiration. I’ve pinned this for future reference

Baska Krk Island offers so much for any traveler’s style. For me a stroll on the beach followed by exploring the city would be perfect! I really enjoyed your post and your photos are so beautiful!

I haven’t been to Croatia, but it is on my wishi list. I hadn’t heard of Krk Island, but now I want to go. A day of hiking, and that meal with the shrimp. Yum.

Swimming and hiking is definitely the perfect combination. I hadn’t known about Krk Island, so this is very helpful. I love rocky beaches. And freshly caught fish after a hike or swim.

Thanks for sharing this, I am keen to visit Croatia and had not heard of Krk Island before. It looks exactly like the kind of place we choose to visit and its good to know it’s not too crowded in April which is when we usually travel to Europe!

Michela, I love this! Krk Island definitely is beautiful. I’m not really a fan of rocky beaches, but the water here looks very pristine and clean. I also love that it’s near a lot of beautiful places that I can also visit while I’m there.
