Hi Lyn, Perth is a great place to be. I love Freo. Cott is always very busy but a wonderful place to hang out too. I must say that Perth’s suburbia is really gorgeous and have a very distinctive flair. Sometimes I do prefer hanging out in those little villages like Subiaco, Claremont, and in the north bound there are many more nice places. I was at Elizabeth Quay in April but wasn’t finished at that time. Hope to get back to Perth soon again.

Hi Rhonda, I never did the Swan River Cruise and have heard that is a great one. So next time it will be on my list! Perth is a lovely city with over 2 millions population, growing bigger from year to year and changing face rapidly.

Freo and the Cott are two other great places to hangout. You must come back and check out Elizabeth Quay (although I will have a post shortly) as I think they have achieved their goals. It is beautiful, but that’s just my opinion 🙂 I am so proud of my hometown, thank you for a great post.

I was only there for three days recently. I left on a Friday so I missed the Twilight Hawkers market. Although you can go from Perth to Fremantle for under $5 on the train, I chose to do a Swan river cruise from Perth to Fremantle for $30 and take the train back.
