After months of hard work, I am thrilled to announce my first Travel Book about Australia which is now live for purchase. Now you know why it was so quite on the Rocky Travel Blog! 🙂
Here is my Solo Travel Book: Your Australia Itinerary
Why a Solo Travel Book about Australia Itineraries ?
Behind this book there is the whole story of my first solo trip in Australia. When I first planned my Solo Trip back in 2003, I was keen to use the Internet for my trip planning, but I couldn't find anything interesting. Only pages full of adverts and flashing banners, trying to sell something. No value at all. Thanks God, over the last 10 years, Internet has improved dramatically and we can all are grateful for it. So, you are now probably wondering how did I plan my Australia trip? Well the answer is obvious, I used the old good Lonely Planet guide and one more travel book from a German author. Every evening, after work, I sat at my table and read a few pages, studied all possible options, draw up ideas, compared and tweaked them into my final 2 months trip around Australia. It took me six months to get my Australia Itinerary ready. Now, you don't need six months, not even six weeks! You can create your own travel itinerary very quickly and this book has got everything covered to create your own itinerary in less thank one day!
What is this travel book all about?
After 10 years of solo travels and 4 of blogging about my travel adventures in Australia, I wanted to create a valuable product that goes beyond inspirational stories. From the questions received from the readers during these years, I have realised that there is a need for in-depth knowledge, especially with regards to itineraries. I know how important it is to have a well thought-out itinerary for Australia. When it comes to crafting Your Australia Itinerary, you need practical ideas that you can implement straight away. So the book is not meant to inspire you to travel to Australia, you can find plenty of inspiration on the Rocky Travel Blog.
What do you learn from this Australia travel book?
The book is the reflection of my experience I gained over 10 years of solo travel in Australia. There is no theory. There is only first-hand experience and practical examples for you to tweak and mould into your own travel style. The first part of the book is focussed on how to make a solo travel plan. It shows you exactly all what you need to have in place before creating your solo trip.
You learn the three important elements for making a travel itinerary that allows you to see Australia in the time you have and at your own pace. Australia is safe and easy to travel around on your own, however it can be challenging if you are not well-prepared. As a solo woman on the road you need to plan ahead all your movements. From the book you learn how to balance your time frame with places you want to see and distances you have to travel.
Who is this travel book good for?
Any solo traveller who wants to travel solo in Australia, either for a short time from a few weeks to a few months. The featured itineraries are suitable for first time solo travellers to more experienced solo travellers who are more long-term travellers. The book is however truly good for anyone who likes the idea of travelling Australia independently.
