I always use it when I am on the road and no reliable wifi resources are available.

I definitely agree with the Telstra Wifi dongle – after many frustrating attempts to use Australian hotel wifi I have also bought one of these and now use it regularly – the great thing is that you can purchase the pre-paid credit relatively cheaply and at least you do not have to work out how to log in each time…
