Why Travel to Australia's Gold Coast
It might take a while to get there from the UK, but a trip to Australia is definitely worth it. Whatever you're looking for, you're sure to
find it in this amazing country and it's not allarid outback or built up city either! Due to the vast size of the country, you'll find several climate zones and distinctive areas, ranging from tropical to subtropical and grassland to desert, and there's even an amazing rainforest!
The cities of Sydney and Melbourne regularly top the list when it comes to the most visited tourist attractions, but another area that's extremely popular with tourists is Gold Coast in South East Queensland. With the excellent surfing to be found there, the fantastic theme parks to keep all the family entertained and the many shops and markets Gold Coast and the surrounding area makes for an attractive propositionwhen it comes to deciding where to spend your time in Australia.
With so much to offer the tourist though, it can be hard to decide where to start, so take a look at my recommended activities below:

Visiting the Australia Zoo
Last year I was blessed to get close to the australian wildlife in many occasions and especially to
learn much whilst volunteering at the Australian Wildlife Hospital , next to the Australia Zoo. At the end of my wonderful experience as a Wildlife Warrrior I also had the chance of visiting the Australia Zoo , seeing its amazing animals and learning about the many wildlife conservation projects they care for.
The Australia Zoo is probably the most known zoo in Australia because of its founder Steve Irwin along with his legendary commitment and work in the australian wildlife and wildnerness conservation.
After Steve Irwin's death in 2006 the work at the Australia Zoo has been proudly continued by his wife Terri and lately by his 13years old daughter, Bindi, as well as by a growing number of Wildlife Warriors. Almost 600 people, actively involved in the care of endangered australian animals as well as in the education and support of many local and internationl wildlife conservation projects.
On the australia zoo website you can also learn about Steve Irwin's fascinating story of his life as a great Wildlife Warrior.

Today a Guest Post by : Rami WOODFORD FOLK FESTIVAL
It is 35 degrees centigrade. The Christmas day lamb is roasting on the spit over hot coals. I
take another sip of my cold beer. Christmas in summer? I wouldn't want it any other way . I love Christmas, the family and the food. The real fun starts on boxing day for me. That year I was doing it solo well so I thought. After a few years the journey may start solo, but you always end up spending it with close friends that you either met on the way or when you get there. 6am I wake up in the Caulfield, a suburb of Melbourne.
