For this week’s Photo Blog I have picked a Photo of the Sydney Opera House
I took this photo during my last visit in May. On a sunny Saturday morning I wandered off from The Rocks, where I was staying. As I had not walked across the Sydney Harbour Bridge yet, the weather was just perfect for viewing the Sydney Harbour from a different angle. The walk itself is not really exciting as the bridge gets pretty noisy with the traffic. However it offers a great vantage point for viewing the Opera House from a different perspective too.
On a Sydney Scenic Fligtht it is also a great way of experiencing Sydney from the air and taking unique photos of the Sydney Opera House. On that day we flew over Sydney but we could not fly right on top of the Opera House due to air traffic issues. The view from the distance was absolutely stunning.
