The first time I heard about Broome it was in Airlie Beach, in Queensland. Their enthusiastic story made me very curious about it ! I did not even know where Broome was, by looking up on the map I realized it was located 4000km on the opposite side of the country.

So, what a pity, no chance for me to include it into my itinerary ! Waited 4 years to finally be able to visit on my second trip to Australia !

I was there in February, the weather was hot and steamy and the place almost devoid of people, but still I loved it ! What I like of Broome is the beauty and the peacefulness of its beaches, Cable beach is amazing but there are so many other beaches and places to visit there. You can learn about he pearling history, about the aboriginal tradition, about its multicultural people and cuisine.
